Our focus on U.S. production delivers greater supply chain reliability and speed to market, allowing us to respond faster and work more closely with our customers.”
At the IDDBA show, an event for retail-focused food innovation, attendees are invited to visit Sabert at Booth #1309 to explore the company's latest innovations and capabilities, including:
Custom Printed Paper Square Bowls
As demand grows for convenient and eco-friendly packaging, operators can now leverage Sabert’s advanced custom printing capabilities for its popular Paper Square Bowl line. Manufactured and printed in the U.S., these bowls are a sustainable and powerful branding tool that can help drive more revenue on the shelf.
Paper Square Bowls are ideal for operators seeking premium presentation and merchandising efficiency. Their low-profile, space-saving design reduces shelf space requirements by up to 40%. Perfect for both hot and cold applications such as grain bowls, gourmet salads, and noodle dishes, they feature recyclable paper bases and PET lids, reinforcing sustainability commitments.
Extending the Catering Experience
Sabert will introduce new Corrugated Inserts for its Kraft Pop-Up Catering Tray at the show. These inserts, available in full and half sizes, are engineered to secure entrees and toppings during transport, preserving food integrity and simplifying logistics. Combining polypropylene trays and recyclable paperboard inserts offers flexibility and reliability for catering operations of all sizes.
Advancing Sustainability Initiatives
The company will spotlight its approach to sustainable innovation with its extensive portfolio of recyclable and certified industrial compostable packaging options, including Sabert’s Pulp Ultra® and Pulp Plus® molded fiber pulp food packaging solutions. Now GreenScreen™ certified, along with BPI certification for compostability and WMU certification for recyclability, Pulp Ultra® and Pulp® Plus containers and bowls are manufactured in its Greenville, TX facility.
Sabert’s innovation capabilities in post-consumer recycled content (PCR) will also be on display, underscoring how the company can help customers meet the growing demand for food-grade post-consumer recycled content (PCR) with its r-PRO™ line. Made with a proprietary polypropylene blend containing 25% PCR, r-PRO™ is sourced from Sabert’s Nuvida recycling facility in New Jersey and meets APR guidelines for recyclability.
“Many companies claim they are innovative, but at Sabert, innovation is the foundation of who we are for over 40 years,” added McCann. “From technology to our people, to our facilities, we invest back into our business to ensure our customers have access to food packaging solutions across a wide range of substrates, including resin, paper, and molded fiber pulp. This breadth, combined with a robust domestic manufacturing footprint, helps our customers deliver exceptional dining experiences that work best for their unique operational needs.”
